DIY 

So the past five days have been totally crazy for me as my good friend has moved back from the UK so we have been partying since last Wednesday! So yesterday I finally relaxed and decided to do a bit of DIY-ing. I’ve got a friends 21^st on this Saturday and the theme is Mexican day of the dead – if you don’t know what this is all about check it out here. Anywho I’m really excited and left it too late to buy a flower head piece so there I was (yesterday) making this big thing!

If you want to make it you will need:

1. ·     Fake flowers…as many types/colours as you like. Most two-dollar shops have them!
2. ·      Wire
3. ·      Scissors
4. ·      Super glue
5. ·      A headband

Basically for the biggest flowers that you chose place them in the middle and tie wire around the base of the flower tightly and then wrap the rest of the wire around the headband and cut off the loose end. Repeat for all of the large flowers that you used.

For the little flowers I just super glued them to the bigger ones and made sure that they were secure…

WA LAH! It really isn’t that quick but that’s all I can explain about it really!?. It is very fiddly but so worth it…considering some of these headpieces are going for $50 on internet.. This cost me a total of  $13.50!
